About the MPS Mirror with Apparatus
The MPS Mirror with Apparatus (M20) is the version of the cutter-area mirror for the Van de Wiele MPS velvet loom that comes with an attached apparatus. The difference from the standard mirror is the additional apparatus used for mounting; this type is made for MPS looms that run the apparatus version. Because it is supplied as one piece with the apparatus, you do not need to source a separate mounting part.
Wear on the mirror surface, a loose or broken apparatus connection and yarn catching in the cutting area are the usual reasons for replacement. If your loom has the mirror without apparatus, choose the M19 MPS Mirror. It can be serviced together with the M2 MPS Weft Cutter Group Complete during cutter maintenance.
