About the MPS Selvedge Cutter Complete Left
The MPS Selvedge Cutter Complete Left (M7) is the complete selvedge cutter for the left-hand edge of the fabric on the Van de Wiele MPS velvet loom. It trims weft ends and edge yarns on the left side so the fabric winds up with a clean edge. Since it is the mirror image of the right-hand cutter, its mounting orientation and connection points differ from the right-side model.
Uncut or torn ends on the left edge, a cutter that strains as it closes and more frequent edge yarn breaks are the usual reasons to replace it. For the right side we supply the M6 MPS Selvedge Cutter Complete Right. Other MPS parts are listed in the Cutter Group.
