About the Rapier Rear Block Inner
The Rapier Rear Block Inner (K12) works on the inner side of the block arrangement at the rear of the rapier; together with the outer block it supports the rapier's rear end from both sides. The inner and outer blocks keep the rapier firmly and play-free connected to the drive side. Smooth back-and-forth rapier travel on velvet looms depends on these small parts staying sound.
Replace the inner block if you see crushing, cracks, play at the connection point, or a slight wobble at the rear of the rapier.
