About the Rapier Rear Connection Aluminium
The Rapier Rear Connection Aluminium (K13) is the aluminium part that links the rear end of the carbon rapier to the drive arrangement on velvet looms. It carries the rapier's back-and-forth motion and works with the rear blocks to keep the rapier running straight on its line. The aluminium body gives the light construction you want on a moving part.
Replace it if the fixing holes have gone oval, there are cracks around the screw area, play at the joint with the rapier, or bending after an impact.
