About the Weft Cutter Diamond Large
The Weft Cutter Diamond Large (M12) is the cutting insert for weft cutters with the larger diamond seat. On every pick the weft yarn is cut between this diamond and the counter blade. Because the large and small types are listed under separate codes, it is worth checking the seat in your cutter body and the insert you removed before ordering.
Yarn left at the cutting point, pulled-looking weft ends or a change in the cutting sound suggest the diamond is losing its edge. If the problem continues after a new diamond, inspect the cutter spring and linkage. For cutters with the smaller seat we offer the M11 Weft Cutter Diamond Small; all inserts are in the Cutter Group.
