About the Günne Drive Wheel Aluminium
The Günne Drive Wheel Aluminium (K24) is the aluminium-bodied drive wheel that moves the rapier on Günne velvet looms. It passes the loom's rotation to the rapier so the shuttle can travel in and out of the shed. Because it is made for Günne looms, it should not be confused with the K19 wheel used on Van de Wiele looms, so please state the loom make when ordering.
Wear on the wheel face, insertion timing going out because the rapier slips, play at the hub, or irregular noise while running all mean K24 should be checked.
