About the MPS Warp Cam
The C7 MPS Warp Cam is fitted on Van de Wiele MPS velvet looms, where it generates the reciprocating motion on the warp side. It converts the rotation of its shaft into a linear stroke following its cam profile, and so sets the timing of the mechanism it drives. A smooth, undamaged cam track is essential for a shock-free, repeatable movement. The part is intended for the MPS model; we can confirm your sub-type from a photo.
