About the Ciel Card Single IC
The Ciel Card Single IC (MG7) is a Ciel control card with a single integrated circuit, used on the electronic control side of the jacquard. On an electronic jacquard the pattern data reaches the modules through cards, and the card plays its part in getting the information about which module moves on which pick delivered correctly and on time. A card fault can cause pattern errors even when every mechanical part is sound. Code MG7 identifies the single-IC Ciel card in our catalogue.
A failing card usually shows as one group of modules not responding at all, making erratic selections, or as an error message on the jacquard display.
