About the Knife Bed Complete, Graphite Type
The B2 Knife Bed Complete, graphite type, houses the knife slide on a velvet loom and guides it on graphite sliding surfaces instead of rollers. With fewer moving parts than the roller version, it keeps the pile-cutting knife running on one line across the full loom width, and that line decides how evenly the pile is cut between the upper and lower fabrics. It ships as a complete bed assembly.
Graphite surfaces wear gradually.
