About the Pulley Block Group Overview
The pulley block group covers the pulley units that pass motion from the jacquard to the harness on carpet and velvet looms. The jacquard lift is shared across several cords through these blocks, so warp ends rise exactly as the design requires. Göktürk's range includes small and large pulley blocks for Van de Wiele CRP, CRX, CRT and CRM carpet looms, plus a separate type for velvet looms. This page is an overview of the whole group.
To choose correctly, start with your loom model and then the block position: CRP and CRX use the Carpet CRP - CRX Small Pulley Block and the P2 large block; CRT and CRM use the Carpet CRT - CRM Large Pulley Block and the P4 small block; velvet looms use P5. Sticking pulleys and uneven shedding are the common symptoms.
