About the Temple Connection
The CM2 Temple Connection is the bracket that fixes the temple to the loom frame and sets its position. For the temple to hold the fabric at the right point, this connection has to be rigid and free of play; otherwise the temple vibrates, slips or drifts away from the fell. A sound connection also makes temple settings repeatable after maintenance. We confirm the matching type for your loom from a photo of the existing part.
A cracked bracket, worn screw seats or a bent arm cause the temple setting to drift, leading to edge breaks and width variation in the fabric. Checking the connection whenever the temple is changed shortens setting time, and re-tightening the bracket screws at routine checks keeps the setting stable. See the Temple itself and the full Temple Group for related parts.
The temple connection is a Göktürk-made equivalent. Send photos of the bracket from a few angles on WhatsApp +90 541 951 44 10 and we will reply with the matching part and a quote.
FAQ
Why does the temple connection matter?
If the connection is loose or damaged, the temple will not stay in place, causing edge breaks and width variation.
Should the temple and connection be changed together?
Not necessarily, but when changing the temple, check the connection for play and renew it too if needed.
