About the 50 AT20 Dobby Drive Belt 2420
The KS2 50 AT20 Dobby Drive Belt 2420 is the 2420-designated version of the AT20-profile toothed belt used on the dobby drive. A toothed belt carries motion from the main drive to the dobby without slipping, so shed timing stays correct. It differs from the 2360 belt of the same profile only by the designation in its name, and which one your loom uses depends on its layout. Check the marking on your current belt to choose correctly.
Broken teeth, frayed edges, cracks in the body or tension that keeps needing adjustment tell you the belt is due for replacement. When changing it, check pulley alignment and pulley teeth so the new belt runs true.
